I have 20 years of experience in Web and print design, instructional design, editing, and instruction.

I’m currently working as a learning architect for a group of fun, talented, and creative people at the eMINTS National Center, an independent business unit of the University of Missouri. We provide face-to-face, blended, and online professional development for K12 educators. My duties include working closely with course and module developers to deliver quality instructional content, both online and in print; evaluating technology tools; and maintaining our Moodle, Equella, and WordPress installations.

Prior to joining eMINTS, I worked as an instructional design specialist for University of Missouri Health Care, coordinating the medical school’s quarterly exams. I was an information specialist/marketing specialist at MOREnet for four years. Previously, I worked for four years in Chicago as an editor for online and print tests at Riverside Publishing, a division of Houghton Mifflin, as well as a Web designer and copywriter for Spectrum Communications. Before that, I taught college English for almost 10 years, including three years full-time at Owensboro Community & Technical College in Owensboro, Ky.
